Restore Factory and set IP on Switch Enterasys

Requirements:

HyperTerminal

Windows Vista and Windows 7 only support the private edition of HyperTerminal. Windows 7 does not even ship with HyperTerminal anymore. The private edition is NOT FREE for commercial use. Its license requires you purchase the application if used commercially. Or use a old version ripped for Windows XP from here. (not tested yet, not will be aborted here – instead we choose use PuTTY)

PuTTY (HyperTerminal replacement)

If you’re looking for a free and solid application to use for your serial COM connections, we try PuTTY. It’s free for commercial and private use, and takes up a 444KB of disk space.

Install on Windows

Download the latest Windows MSI installer of PuTTY from here and just follow the install steps.

Install on Ubuntu Linux
